  7. with a national identity, or with a sort of weighty 
  8. tradition that you almost can‚Äôt get out from 
  9. under. But Canadians had a kind of freedom, we‚Äôre 
  10. not hung up on big national myths, we‚Äôre not hung 
  11. up on the weight of history. As someone once said, 
  12. ‚Äúwe have a lot of geography, not very much 
  13. history.”
